God's Warriors began in 1995 when founding member David Delk was
challenged by a peer in the ministry to use his athletic abilities
in ministry for God. After doing approximately fifty solo appearances,
David was joined by other athletes who wanted to become involved
in the outreach effort. Over the last decade, God's Warriors has
performed countless shows at youth detention centers, schools, church
gatherings, and community outreach events.
God's Warriors is now a team of men and women from a variety of
athletic backgrounds: weightlifters, football players, powerlifters,
bodybuilders, and track & field athletes. The common thread
binding these teammates is a love for the Lord and a desire to see
people give their lives and their futures to God. The goal of the
God's Warriors team is to use their abilties to see as many individuals,
both young and old, give their hearts, minds, and souls to Jesus
Christ.
